Two weeks after the first outbreak, and all Kaleth could think of was the faces of the shambling people from his old town. He was a walking armory yet no matter how many he killed, it seemed he couldn't forget the fact that these people weren't dead, they were simply sick. His hair was slick with blood and his hands could barely hold his gun from all the gunk and filth on them, but looking around the desolate city he wondered if anyone else had made it out alive like himself.

The 15 year old pushed a strand of his pitch black hair from his grey eyes and kept walking, not stopping lest the infected and special infected got a hold of him.

The young 14 year old was amased at hi own strength and perseverence. all he had on him was a few guns a hand full of knives a rapier and a small sheild, but he single handedly wiped out the whole town. his face was spaterd with blood and his short curly hair was so stained, that it had turned red when it was once black. " well, now that theyer all gon i guess i try to find some survivors." he said and he started down the road litered with corpses

Edge walked out of the ruins of the cosplay convention after slicing his brother in half. "This Buster Sword replica is totally worth those 200 hundred bucks." Taking care to sidestep blood puddles to keep his SOLDIER boots clean, he noticed another person across the street from him, a guy with a rapier and shield.

"Hey, you're not zombified are you? 'Cause if you are, I'm gonna have to chop you in half."

" i have to ask you the same thing" the young boy said. he started walk twoards the man he saw in front of the convention center

"Well, you can talk, and you don't sound like a gutteral freak of the wrongs of humanity." Edge walked towards the boy and stuck out his hand.

"Edge, SOLDIER 1st class. And you?"

" Jeremy Smith 14 and only known survivor of the smith family" he said grabing edges hand and shaking it. " it's nice to meet someone non zombie" he said

"17. Oh, I've heard about your family, an artistic prodigy, a talented musician who hates piccolos, a charming young girl and a lazy boy. Which of them are you? The musician right?"

Edge put his sword on his back after releasing Jeremy's hand. "We'd better get moving. There must be some more people out there."

" actually i'm the lazy one" jeremy said as he started walking with edge. " so where are w going?" he asked

Kaleth ran away from the bouncing infected trying to get him. The Hunter class special infected was a pain in the ass, it's constant screaming had left his ears ringing so he hoped there wasn't a Tank or a Boomer around to blind or kill him.

The young weapons smith prodigy aimed back over his shoulder and fired off another round, finally killing the thing after a chase around a city block. He still wore his white, bloodstained cut off shirt and leather coat while his pants were now a pair he'd stolen from a clothing store and cut to fit him. He was passing a Convention Center he noted, but all he really cared about was getting away from this place. A chopper had come by not to long ago to say that evacuations were going on at Mercy Hospital...he would try to get there.

He skidded around a corner and meeped before running back the other way, screaming at the top of his lungs. The Tank roared and chased after him.

"Somebody!! Please help me!" He doubted that would work but, hey...it was worth a shot.

Edge heard a scream behind him and turned to see a Tank following a young man at barreling speeds. "Aw, crap, where we gonna go you ask? Well, I gotta help that guy." He left the Buster Sword in it's place and started running in Kaleth's direction.

"How the crap do you find one of those things accidentally!?"

Kaleth yelped and continued running.

"I didn;t find it, it found ME! KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!!!!!!"

Edge sidestepped past the running Kaleth and jumped above the zombie and attempted to beat it's face in. Since that didn't work due to the tank shoving him away, he tried kicking it, but the monster kept running madly towards Kaleth.

Edge caught up quickly and jumped onto it's back and punched it profusely in the back of it's head. "Why-won't-you-die!"

BANG! the tank fell sudenly with a large hole in the side of its head. " its a good thing i've got my guns" jeremy said smilling and walking over to edge and the young man

"I didn't want to use my sword," Edge stood up from the collapsed body.

"Glad you took care of it, Jerry. Now, who are you?" He turned and looked at the guy who was running away from the tank, who was a couple meters ahead of him after he stopped running.

Kaleth smiled and grabbed his chest as he breathed harshly.

"T-thank you! I'm Kaleth, I'm a blacksmith. I'm so glad you guys came to help me!"
