This topic is pretty much discussions about Golden Sun. Nuff said.
I've been reading a lot of things on the new Golden Sun DS game, and from what I've seen looks pretty decent, if not great. After the five years of emptiness from Golden Sun: The Lost Age, to rumors and conjecture on the new Golden Sun, I have had many hopes and wishes, but fears and doubts, too. One of them was that Camelot would attempt to change the animation style of the game and attempt to make it more three dimensional than it's two dimensional top-down/parralell view of it's predeccesors. I was scared to death that the new look would come out like a piece of crap.
But after what I've seen, I'm shocked. The best three dimensional graphics I've seen to date for Nintendo's DS is Final Fantasy IV and the two Spectrobes games. But from videos I've seen, Camelot's given the new Golden Sun an incredible 3D look, with the best graphics I've seen for the DS, aside from FFIV's opening. I would probably say it's about equeal with the PSP's Dissidia.
But graphics aren't the only things that determines a game's greatness. The music is beautiful, the sound. . . well, sounds much better and it filled me with happy memories. . . . . . Before I could finish watching a minute of E3's presentation of the game, I decided to stop the video and walk away, thinking it would be much better to keep the few images I have of this new game and saving them for when I put the cartridge into my DS.
Now, even more I support the boycottation of the DSi, because on the DSi, you can't play GBA games. Why get that, if you can get the old DS and play all three GS's? See my logic?
And that was my rant on Golden Sun, I've got a lot more, but this is a pretty long post. . . . .
