.Hack G.U is...

So Fake got me back on the .Hack series so I was wondering what kind of game it is.

In comparison to the first series, it's a cake walk. Even I'll admit that infection-quarantine were pretty difficult if you weren't doing it right- I've even got friends that won't play the first set because they found it too difficult.

GU is extremely simple. It took me a day each (with breaks) to beat each game 100% in a day... then again I make it a point to obliterate those games when I get them.
It's got a great story and characters that are equally simple to follow along with. Hell, you can even figure out who's who from the first games.
(i.e. Endrance is Elk and Haseo is Sora from SIGN even though his personality did a complete 306, but there's a long story behind it)
Anyways, it's a great series and completely worth it for the Azure knights, as well as some Alkaid... delicious.

It's pretty much just like the first game in controls, with a few other features as expected from any other sequel in a series.

So are there characters from the other .Hack series and what type of game is it like fighting, strategy

It's an RPG like the first game. You don't really need to strategize like in the first game series.

The first series are the one's with Kite and Blackrose.
GU is the sequel series.

Right With Haseo fighting Azure Flame Kite. I was confused at first but I want a Blademaster besides Mia she Sucks.

She only sucks because you can rarely use her. You'll get another one though, just make sure you're always checking the message board and such. That's where you get the key words for the areas to get other characters.

Who were the characters you played with?

My preferred team had Pi and whoever else I saw fit to be in the team at the time. Never used Piros though... there was a good reason for that.
