New Harrisburg

Serget looked at Carrigan disapprovingly. "We could have taken a tank without inciting violence." He unscrewed a can and let the gas permeate the clear liquid, turning it sickly purple. The can was resealed and Serget jammed the tank onto a cavity on his breather.

Carrigan tilted her head and smiled mistily, hugging Serget's arm with a purr, smudging the blood on her cheek more.

"They would not have given them up without violence. I know, because I Saw." Her eyes turned solemn as she gazed up at her Reaver, white eyes blank. "I did not wish to loose you, or the human woman. They were a danger if let alone. This I know."

Alita looked on in all of this transpiriing at first slightly amazed and almost about to be disgusted that such a fragile girl like Carrigan could do such a violent and horrible thing. But then again, the need to survive was strong and they had to live on and neither of them wanted to die. Not in a place like this.

"Thank you for the map." she said to Carrigain. "This will be of great value to us. We need to find a town and find out what's been going on and make our move from there. We can't stay in one place for too long."

Serget pointed at a large ink mark in pen scrawled crudely on the map. "This should be a ground dock. We can probably hitch a ride there if we're patient."

Carrigan smiled at Alita, trying to wipe the blood off her skin while she rummaged around in the bloody sack, pulling out some little shiny bits that she began sticking together and then wove it into her hair which had come loose from their braids.

"Well, let us get going."

Alita nodded and rolled up the map tucking it inside of her bag.

"Alright guys, let's head out in that direction and see what we find." she said.

And so they began walking. Unsure of where they'd be, unsure of what lay ahead of them. But whatever happened they were going to face it together the three of them. Braving the unknown together.
